Professor Chen Wenjie is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Anhui University, an expert of Anhui Province "Hundred People Program", a senior member of IEEE, and the executive deputy director of Anhui Human-Machine Integration System and Intelligent equipment Engineering Laboratory. Professor Chen received a Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering from Beihang University in 1985, a Master's degree in Dynamics & control from Beihang University in 1988, and a Doctor's degree in Mechatronics from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 1999. Professor Chen has been deeply engaged in the field of industrial automation equipment for more than 30 years, and has long been committed to the research and development of flexible assembly and robot intelligent operation grasping technology. He led the research team to achieve fruitful results in related fields: published more than 140 high-level academic papers, published 1 monograph in the field of grippers, and obtained more than 40 national authorized invention patents. With deep knowledge in "mechanical intelligence" technology, Professor Chen has successfully solved many adaptive problems in precision assembly and robot control. As project leader, Professor Chen chaired or participated in five National Natural Science Foundation projects, and led dozens of robot operation and assembly projects funded by the Singapore government and industry partners, with a cumulative research fund of more than 50 million yuan. Its innovative research results have been successfully applied to the production lines and assembly systems of internationally renowned companies such as Rolls Royce, Philips, and PSA Singapore, and have generated significant economic benefits and social values.
